Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 124:8
There is nothing I enjoy more than throwing on some stretchy leggings with an over sized sweatshirt. Both kiddos are content so I am writing to tappity tap tap with my fingers. I haven't written in a while, which if you are a faithful reader you would know that. If not if this is your first visit, welcome and please don't hesitate to look around. As I write to you today I am so very grateful for all the wonderful people that have opened there hearts to me. I have the greatest people here surrounding me every single day. I never feel like I can't call one of them up for help, I always feel that they are just 100% there for me. Which I know is something that only comes from God. Friends are so essential to life, friends that I would refer to as my family because they have become that for me. The pick up the pieces and help me everyday in life. I'm very aware that I'm not the only one that falls apart, it's just so nice to know that on days I want to they are there. I'm going to be going on another trip, which will make it hard to leave. I couldn't imagine loving where I live anymore. God has made NC my home, through my beautiful church I've made wonderful friendships that will stand the test of time. Because we have 1 thing in common, the only thing that matters which is Jesus. Without Jesus, its impossible to have anything thrive in this world. This week has been full of shopping, gearing up for Christmas. All the houses are decorating with lights, trees and little snowmen figurines. Villages are coming out of the attic to be once again shown off, and again we'll gather to cherish all we do have. We are so very, very , privileged and blessed. Such an abundance of gifts, which my pleasure is giving. Don't get me wrong I love to receive, I really do, but giving is SO much of a joy. Seeing faces light up after finding just what you were looking for. That unexpected grin of-You shouldn't have-. Jesus gives us that gift not only every year but everyday. It shouldn't be something we take lightly at all, quick to blow it off like its normal. Yeah your so right, People go out and die for my sins daily, I'm that wonderful. -NOT TRUE!- Yet in these days everyone just goes about there business. Yes I know who Jesus is, That is so fabulous. Do you know all He does for you. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.John 3:16
How He gave up His one and only son for you. Now I want you to think about this, Especially for you that have something so precious to you. Would you be willing to give that all up for the world? For a purpose so much greater than you can wrap your head around? Would you give up the life of your child for ones that aren't even born yet?
I am always brought back to Mary, and what an honor but hardship that must have been. Trusting in God is always a place that it takes me time to grow. When I hear what God has in store I'm like, -hmmmm I dunno God , and then it happens and something beautiful appears. Things I never would have known. God loves and cares for us, even when its hard to see in the storms of life. He's right there holding onto your hand. I pray this Christmas season you remember all Jesus did. The true reason we come together, the real meaning of Christmas and all God has in store for the year to come. Blessings to you all and prayers.
