How can I keep from shouting your name

So it always blesses me when God puts a song on my heart. A song that the more you are singing it, the more it is encouraging you, and making you realize what God's saying. It's so great when he is just comforting you even when you feel like you don't need it. Usually our vacation consists of reenacting the farmer and the headless chicken. But this time has been quite a delight, God has blessed us greatly in all he gives us.

On Saturday I had the most wonderful opportunity to witness two of my favorite people become one. The message was sound as to what marriage should be, even though often times we loose track of the truth. "And he said, 'This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one." Matthew 19:5 I pray your marriage is full of sacrifice, just like Christ died for us. Everyday we choose to love each-other as Christ loved us. It should never be "You owe me, or I did this for you." God wants more from us than that. Think of His everlasting love, and constant forgiveness. Praise GOD, He's not as earthly as we are. Constantly going back to the past and making our friends, family and whomever live in our days of sin.

I love the strength and freedom I have in Christ. One that my past doesn't make me who I am going to be. It's like a tremendous weight, gone from me forever. Who but our Savior can do something like that. I know the next couple of months are going to be a whirlwind for my family and myself. That is why I keep choosing to enjoy the days one by one. Smiling in the tiny moments : Like when Sam decides he's just gonna run up and tickle me, Or when Natalie's face just makes me warm all over. I have definitely enjoyed these times here. But that in no way means I haven't missed my back home buddies. I actually wish I could have shrunken them all down, put them in my suitcase and had them with me the whole time. There are daily moments that I'm like "man I wish _____________ was here". - You can definitely insert your name mostly because it has probably happened on more than one occasion . I had the best shopping adventure yesterday, I finally know what I want with my wardrobe! Which is more than I can actually say for the past 23 years of my life. Yes I know I've worn clothes all those years. But it seems when I shop with my friends they know what there looking for, Where as I would just put something on and be like "yea, this works". Now you can laugh if you want because even I myself am surprised by it . But I am drawn towards nautical clothes and what outfit wouldn't be complete without some of my nerdy flair! So yes.. that is my beautiful wrapped up self. Well now that I have blogged for most of the morning, I probably should get started on my day. Oh and please enjoy the Chris Tomlin "How can I keep from singing" lyrics below. That song is what has given you this blog above.
S.

How can I keep from singing Chris Tomlin There is an endless song Echoes in my soul I hear the music ring And though the storms may come I am holding on To the rock I cling How can I keep from singing Your praise How can I ever say enough How amazing is Your love How can I keep from shouting Your name I know I am loved by the King And it makes my heart want to sing I will lift my eyes In the darkest night For I know my Savior lives And I will walk with You Knowing You'll see me through And sing the songs You give How can I keep from singing your praise? How can I ever say enough, how amazing is your love? How can I keep from shouting your name? I know i am loved by the king, and it makes my heart want to sing I can sing in the troubled times Sing when I win I can sing when I lose my step And fall down again I can sing 'cause You pick me up Sing 'cause You're there I can sing 'cause You hear me, Lord When I call to You in prayer I can sing with my last breath Sing for I know That I'll sing with the angels And the saints around the throne how can i keep from singing your praise how can i ever say enough how amazing is your love how can i keep from shouting your name a know i am loved by the king and it makes my heart i am loved by the king and it makes my heart i am loved by the king and it makes my heart want to sing i can sing

What about the change?

As my vacation with my husband comes to a close, I find myself pondering time. I know I have blogged before about taking the time we have, and living for the moment. Making the best of all the good old movies we watched and holding true to the lines. Course as far as I’m concerned living in the past movies is so much better than today’s present. But I digress, I have already done a rant on movies today. Geez Louise, You might be thinking why is she just blogging about all the things she’s blogged about. But today’s blog is somewhat different. I am not certain of how you were raised or brought up. But I’m about to tell you a little about my upbringing. That is if my computer decides to cooperate and use all the keys when I press them. Instead of being a brat, and not correctly making the words I am typing. So as the munchkins are entertained. Let us begin!

I was raised in a quaint Christian home, full of good morals and love. Every Sunday we would go to church and then after have dinner at my grandparents. Now as a child it was pretty much the normal to go to church just to be with my friends. I learned about God and Jesus , listening to all the stories from Adam & Eve to Jonah to David and Goliath. Which now I see more of lessons than stories . But while watching my children, I can hardly wait for them to see all that Christ has for their lives. I know for myself that all of it wasn’t really real until after VN. Which to some of you is an old hat to put on, the words roll off your tongue as if tasting your favorite cookie. But to others they are two letters, that contain no meaning and are ready for an explanation. VN aka Vida Nueva is a spiritual life weekend for teenagers. I was 17 when I lived my weekend and it was beyond eye opening for me. Going to church had become the norm for myself. It wasn’t really a life choice for me, to live for the Lord and glorify Him. It was more : Sundays I get dressed up sing praises and see family. For myself being a Christian had almost become an old hat. One that was worn regularly but not really enjoyed. It was always apparent to me the new Christians. The ones that would read His word and be in aw. But it breaks my heart how much precious time I had just wasted away. My life now has become the complete opposite. Jesus isn’t really an afterthought or a back seat driver. As we know from previous entries. He runs this roost, and it will continue to be that way. I know we all are walking different walks . Because no person has the same walk with Christ as someone else. Course why would you want it that way, then we would have nothing to tell each other. Hearing stories of how God continues to work wonders in your lives is something that always makes me smile. I hope you are on fire for Christ. If not I hope you take a moment to meet him, your life will never be the same. When did it change for you? Has it changed for you? You will know when it does that is for sure. Its Sunday and we did pile up the children and head to church. Although it didn’t work out for me to be at the service, it wasn’t a oh I missed the sermon. Because once I got home, I made sure I got to listen to a sermon online. I don’t know what God’s put on your heart this very day. But I know for me its knowing that now is the time, to share his kingdom. God bless you today and everyday. S.

We could be Heroes, forever and ever

It's about 11:30 this morning and I am currently sitting in my parents sun room. My view is the lake, which looks incredibly tempting -but the monster is napping so after he naps I think we'll get in. Its a splendid day and one that brings back beautiful memories. 5 years ago I got married, :) Thankfully to the man I'm still married to today. Every year for our anniversary we go to the latest pixar production. Which this year is Brave :D :D :D !! As you can see from my many smiles I am rather giddy about it.

As you know we just ventured from home up to ME. Which with 2 kids under 2 can be quite a feat. We made it though and with good time to boot! We left about 7am Sunday morning and drove into Mum and Dad's driveway a 3:30am Monday! I know- We're crazy. We've been having such a great time, Loads of laughter and fun. Now to the reason I'm telling you all the this. 1st and foremost people are crazy drivers, I really watched myself getting so angry and frustrated at the other drivers on the road. It was like they really didn't respect anyone but themselves, not only that but they just don't really realize how fast it all can be gone. We were very blessed not to be in any accidents. But we did witness one, which is why I'm blogging today. We had just come through some traffic and all of a sudden to our left is these cars are this way and that. As we drive on we can see one is completely backwards and children are stumbling away from it. It brought tears to my eyes. Because we as drivers are so "full of ourselves." Feeling as though we can conquer anything. Basically all I am asking is be mindful that in the blink of an eye that can all be gone. Being behind the wheel is a privilege, and you should never take it for granted. So as I am frequenting some 80 degree weather with a great breeze, or jumping in the lake and swimming until my hearts content. Remember be mindful of others and don't be an idiot behind the wheel. Just because you think your a good driver, does not necessarily mean you are! Blessings on your weeks to come. Inspiration :
But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in Heaven.Matthew 5:44
